Jones - Mabel Harris

Mrs. Mable R. Jones, 74, of Crawfordsville, died at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Carmen Nursing Home. She was born in Crawfordsville on April 27, 1894, a daughter of Henry and Emmaline Harris. She married Charles F. Jones in 1913. A member of the First Baptist Church, she had attended Crawfordsville schools. Her husband preceded her in death. Surviving are three daughters, all of Crawfordsville, Mrs. Dorothy Rubin, Mrs. Betty Francis and Mrs. Patsy Kennedy; three sons, Charles L. Jones of Phoenix, Ariz., and twins Robert and Billy of Crawfordsville; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and two nieces. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hunt and Son Funeral Home with Rev. John Stacy officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Friday. - jlr
